On behalf of the EU Delegation to Moldova, wish to invite the Civil Society Forum National Platform to a consultative meeting on the Eastern Partnership Roadmap. The meeting will be chaired by H.E. Ambassador Dirk Schuebel.
As you know, the Joint Declaration of the Warsaw Eastern Partnership Summit of September 2011 called for the elaboration of a roadmap which should guide and monitor the implementation of the Partnership until the next Summit in the second half of 2013. The European External Action Service is currently working with the services of the European Commission to develop these ideas. The Roadmap will be adopted as a High Representative/European Commission Communication which will be a part of the European Neighbourhood Package on 25 April of 2012.
The aim of the consultation is to inform the members of the CSF National platform as well as other colleagues from civil society of the way ahead on the roadmap and to ask you for your views concerning the road map and a possible role of the CSF National Platforms in the implementation and monitoring of the EaP.
The meeting will be organized on February 8, between 2-4 pm., In this regard, we would highly appreciate if you could inform us how many civil society representatives would participate in the consultations.
